Liberty Concludes Season Road Games at NJIT


On a quest to hosting an ASUN Tournament quarterfinal, Liberty (12-15, 8-6 ASUN) begins its final two regular season game stretch at NJIT (6-21, 3-11 ASUN) on Saturday.

Both teams will tipoff at 1 p.m. at the NJIT Wellness and Events Center.

Last Meeting

  •         Liberty beat NJIT 58-47 on February 2, 2019 in Lynchburg, Va.
  •         Bridgette Rettstatt led the Lady Flames with 15 points and a career-high four blocks.
  •         The Lady Flames held the Highlanders to just one made field goal in the second quarter.
  •         Despite being held to one made field goal in the second quarter, NJIT was still able to score seven out of eight free throws to cut the score to 24-22 under the three-minute mark.
  •         NJIT’s Danielle Tunstall scored a jumper to tie the game at 24-24 at the beginning of the third quarter.
