This game is against another ranked opponent in No. 11 Boston College (9-6, 2-4 ACC). The game will take place at the Liberty Field Hockey Field on Sunday at 12 p.m.
The Lady Flames are coming off a tough loss to BIG EAST rival UConn. Their first loss of the season in conference play. They are just a win away from clinching a share of the BIG EAST regular season title, if UConn were to lose its BIG EAST finale to Georgetown.
The Eagles recently lost a conference game to No. 4 Duke on Friday in Durham, N.C. They are currently on a three game losing streak in ACC play.

Series History
The last time Liberty and Boston College met was in 2015. It was the first time they played against each other. The Eagles ended up earning the victory against the Lady Flames 3-2 in double overtime. Current players Abby Julius and Lindsay Pratt were in their first year with the team at the time.

- This final home game is Senior Day. Liberty field hockey will honor Abby Julius, Agueda Moroni, Lindsay Pratt, and Moniek van Aarle.
- No. 11 Boston College is the eighth and final ranked opponent Liberty will face in the regular season. Could play some in postseason.
- Agueda Moroni has been chosen to compete in the NFHCA Division I Senior Game.
- Moroni also scored her 50th career goal in the loss to UConn. She is now ranked No. 8 in the nation in active career leaders in goals.
- Junior goalkeeper Allison Schaefer now has 285 saves in her career. She is ranked No. 11 in the nation in active career saves leaders.
- Boston College is currently to No. 15 in the NCAA Field Hockey RPI rankings.
- The Lady Flames beat the Eagles 2-1.
- Senior Agueda Moroni scored all two goals to lead the team to victory. Her 22nd and 23 shot of the season.
- Mallory Fortenbaugh, Kendra Jones, and Moniek van Aarle each made an assist. All contributed to the goals made by Maroni. Both Fortenbaugh and Jones are now in the top three for assists on the team.
- Boston College's only goal was made by Lucy Lytle. The assist was made by teammate Brooke Matherson.
- Junior goalie Allison Schaefer finished the game with five saves.
- This season, the Lady Flames have beaten two opponents from the ACC. The previous team they beat from that conference was No. 7 Virginia.
- The Lady Flames have beaten four ranked opponents this season. They include No. 7 Virginia, No. 11 Boston College, No. 17 James Madison, and conference foe No.22 Old Dominion.
- Liberty will travel to Rhode Island to take on Providence (11-6, 4-2 BIG EAST) in their final conference game of the season. Game will be held on Thursday at 6 pm.
