Coach Green Quotes
On the game…
We took care of the ball and had the opportunity to score.
We rebounded sufficient enough to be successful. At the end of the game, we
actually got 10 more shots than they did. But the curse with that was that we
missed our ten more shots, and they made their shots. But at the end of the
day, we both made 24 field goals. So there’s a lot of parity in our game.
Emily Lytle…
We’re excited to have that firepower because that certainly
brings attention to her. And she’s got a quick trigger, and we could run her
off screens and things like that. But we’re certainly glad to have her on our
team shooting. You know she gets back in the groove, she’s been out for a year,
and she’s hungry.
Preparing for Saint
Francis (Pa.)…
Hope that they understand the value of playing
good defense. I mean, we’re happy in the first quarter. We’re not as happy in
the second quarter, but the game is still in reach. And the third quarter was
disappointing to them, as much as it is to us as well. So the value of defense.
Take the positive - don’t turn the ball over, and you have a good chance to
